Value for money was excellent, the room was comfortable with amazing views, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay at Serenite.
The breakfast selection could be improved, perhaps by offering a wider variety of choices.

The view was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning sights of the surrounding mountains and waterfalls. The staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The breakfast was delicious and served with a smile, making for a perfect start to each day.
While the overall experience was fantastic, there were a couple of minor downsides. The water pressure in the bathroom shower could be improved, as it was a bit low.

We couldn't believe the breathtaking views from our balcony! Waking up to the sunrise and enjoying breakfast with monkeys in the trees in front of us was out of this world. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. They even brought us breakfast and tea on request despite the bad weather. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We also loved the fact that the hotel was away from the busy main road, providing a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.
The path and steps leading to the rooms were quite steep and pitch black at night, so it would have been helpful if lights were provided or at least a torch. Additionally, there was a construction site nearby, although the noise level was low during our stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the serene and eco-friendly villa in Ella. the staff welcomed us warmly upon arrival, offering us our choice of refreshing drinks. Despite our late arrival, they were ready to check us in and hand over the keys promptly. Our room had a beautiful balcony with an incredible view of the sunrise, a picturesque waterfall, and rolling hills. It was even frequented by playful monkeys, adding to the enchanting experience of immersing ourselves in the local flora and fauna. the breakfast served at the villa was delicious and filling, with a variety of dishes to choose from. We particularly enjoyed the Coconut Pancakes, Rotty, and Dhal Curry, as well as the refreshing milkshakes and fruit plates. the caretakers were attentive and provided helpful tips about nearby attractions.
They even assisted us with our luggage during both our arrival and departure. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like.

We stayed at Serenite Ella for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The host, Ramesh, was incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable, with an amazing view of Ella rock. The hotel also had breathtaking views of Little Adams Peak that we enjoyed from the lobby and our room. The staff had a great attitude and went out of their way to assist us, even drawing us a map to Ella Rock. We had the best sleep here, and waking up to monkeys on the balcony was a delightful bonus. Lastly, the coconut pancakes for breakfast were absolutely delicious.
Would recommend this hotel.

The room had a beautiful view and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and made sure we had a great stay. The location was perfect, close to attractions and a short walk to the town center.
There was a disturbing incident with one of the hotel staff that made us uncomfortable and unsafe. We highly recommend young women not to stay alone at this hotel.

This hotel offers breathtaking views and a fantastic breakfast. the location is excellent, surrounded by nature and providing an intimate and peaceful environment. the staff, particularly Ramesh, is extremely helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with any needs. the rooms are nice and comfortable with a stunning view from the private balcony. the breakfasts, especially the Sri Lankan options, are delicious and memorable, making it one of the best breakfast experiences. Plus, the ability to leave luggage with the manager after checkout is a convenient facility.
Sometimes, there might be a slight delay in getting things prepared by Ramesh, which could be an inconvenience if you have a time-sensitive schedule.

We stayed here for four nights on our honeymoon. Staff were remarkable - friendly, kind, knowledgeable. The food was fantastic, some of the best in Sri Lanka. The room was beautiful with a stunning view from the balcony. The hotel is nestled in peace and quiet away from the bustling backpacker center. We did a bike tour, a brilliant way to see the countryside. Highly recommend visiting the Garden Kitchen restaurant. Serenite Ella is a gem for a peaceful stay in an action-packed place.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
